The idea of photography came about in 2008 while Michael was attending Ferris State University. Michael didn’t have enough money to cover his last semester of school and was unable to find a job. He decided to buy some photography equipment and take and sell pictures at the college parties. From there his business as a photographer grew. Even though photography initially started as a means to get through school, it evolved into a trade that Michael enjoyed. He liked learning all aspects of photography, and this newfound interest helped combine his curiosity with an ambition to improve the product.
Picsago LLC was launched in 2017. Picsago provides affordable wedding photography services for clients in Southfield, MI. Michael took his time building his business to ensure that Picsago would speak volumes to the team’s great versatility, level of detail in every area and dedication to keeping customers satisfied at an affordable rate. As the head wedding photographer, Michael creates magical memories by capturing both warm, candid expressions and highlighting the essence of the experience through some staging of the event. Michael strives to surpass client’s expectations by making sure each client’s unique story is told through wedding photographs that will last a lifetime.
Michael funds Picsago through his work as an Engineer, and is motivated by the idea of ownership and freedom. Michael is also hands-on in helping his wife launch her make-up line “Pics Fairy.”
CHALLENGES TURN VICTORY
The biggest challenge Michael faced as a wedding photographer was overworking himself. It is easy to drown yourself in your work, especially when it’s something you love to do, but learning your limits is important. Michael has learned to overcome this challenge by planning out his days in advance and pacing himself.

FUTURE GOALS
Michael is currently developing a publishing company that will help with mental awareness…helping others understand that it’s ok to be happy. He has a past in poetry and motivational speaking. On this venture, Michael looks to combine his depth of thought and artistry with adult-like cartoons/sketches illustrating different aspects of mental awareness. He states that “It will be a calmer approach, with peaceful visuals, displaying areas society are afraid to talk about.” Stay tuned.
